Experience a panaromic view of Kasauli from this villa

Experience a panaromic view of Kasauli from this villa
A quiet nook, a beautiful garden, a picturesque town and some great people to go with it. These were the things that made our stay at the Homestead Villa a special one. The resort is unbelievably peaceful and a great place to spend  2 to 3 nights with friends or family. Run by an army family the resort is located in the cantonment area just 500 mts from Kasauli Mall Road. Here are some of the things that can help you making your stay at Homestead Villas even more enjoyable.

1. How to reach here?

The best way to reach Kasauli for budget travelers is to take a roadways bus to Chandigarh or Kalka and then take a joining bus to Kasauli. For those who prefer luxury one can take Shatabdi till Kalka railways station and then take a taxi towards Kasauli.
For Budget Travelers: Rs 350
For Luxury Travelers: Rs 2500

2. Location

Although the resort is right in the middle of all the happening places in Kasauli what makes it special is the solitude that provides to the seekers. Surrounded by nature and a beautiful garden in the other side, the resort is perfect for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The views from the rooms are mesmerising and one can even have a romantic rooftop candle light dinner on special demand if season permits.
Price: Rs 4,500 per night

3. Decor

The resort has a minimalist decor with rooms featuring  an open wooden cloth rack, a chair and a table. The halls are filled with books that can make any book lover go crazy. There’s even a hanging chair in the garden to absorb the unhindered nature and read peacefully. There are only 5 rooms in the resort and all of them feature amenities that are hard to find in the budget range provided. There are even statues and indigenous paintings kept all over the property which gives eyes a huge relief.

4. Activities

For families coming with children there are enough arrangements that include a number of board games, informative books, table tennis and badminton rackets. The staff can also arrange the bonfire in request as it is something that brings people together. So while here ask for various options that will help you relax apart from nature and all the sightseeing options.

5. Food

The staff at the resort is amazing and they take care of every little thing that you ask for. You can also ask for vegetarian and non vegetarian options both of which are equally tasty. We were served with chicken curry on the first night and Rajma Rice on the second and were left craving for more even after having our tummies full.

6. Places to visit

You can visit the Christchurch located right at the beginning of mall road, manki point, sunset point, and Gilbert trail which are all located at just the walking distance from the resort. You can also visit various cafes located in the market some of which are quite famous and made popular by tourists.
